There is a fundamental gap between identity and expression, caused by the broken fashion discovery and styling user experience. Today, we’re forced to translate our complex identity into our physical self expression (the way we dress ourselves) in reductive rigid search terms like “black,” “dress,” “formalwear.” But how we really think is more like: “I want something edgy and avant-garde that fits a funky black tie dress code, impresses my boss, and makes me look cool for my kids—without drawing too much attention.”

ARI removes the friction between abstract identity and rigid search. We are building the next-gen fashion discovery and styling interface—powered by frontier AI, cutting-edge UX, and a brand designed for emotional depth and resonance. A platform where how you feel is finally matched by what you find.

We are looking for a founding designer:

• End-to-end design: own the design process from scrappy sketches to high-fidelity prototypes ready for engineering.
• Collaborate: with engineers + other team members.
• Implement feedback: effectively interpret + continuously implement and discuss feedback throughout the design process.
• Maintain + evolve the design system: continuous re-evaluation of design based on internal team discussions + user feedback/data

You will be the entire design team (for now). This means high degree of agency and ownership. We are looking for someone who is excited to eat, sleep, and breathe ARI with us as a founding team member.
